Mrs. Bang graduated from department of nursing in Jeonju and began her midwife training at the renowned Ilshin Christian Hospital in Busan. Upon completing her midwife training, she continued to gain experience and skills during her ten (10) years of work experience at birth centers and delivery wards.
Out of a desire to foster more gentle and calm birth experiences for mothers and babies, Mrs. Bang began her training in Yoga, HypnoBirthing, Autogen, and Gi-Tae-Gyo (Korean relaxation technique), among others.
Mrs. Bang also has three (3) years of experience working as a midwife at MediFlower in Seoul, a women’s birth center specializing in natural birth.
In 2012, Uri Bang founded ‘Mama’s Birth Center’ with her team of qualified, passionate midwives and nurses. She desires to help mothers achieve natural birth in a gentle, calm and stress-free environment.
